ABOUT:

Milcah is a Creative, Mental Health Clinician, Certified Coach and Educator with a combined 22+ years of service in the U.S and U.K. She has worked seamlessly across the areas of Child/Adolescent & Adult Psychiatry, Clinical Social Work and Education. She delivers a range of evidence-based, therapeutic interventions, trainings and program development efforts to diverse populations in both countries. Milcah’s style of engagement is direct, conversational, collaborative and nonjudgemental. She is passionate about empowerment through expression, and very effective at advancing paths towards greater wellbeing.

SPECIALIZATIONS:

Inter/Intra-personal communication, complex relationship dynamics, child–adult and parental attachment challenges, differentiated education, curriculum design for diverse learners, and customised programs and training development and implementation.

These areas are supported through evidence-based therapeutic approaches including CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy), Narrative Therapy and Coaching, DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), Motivational Interviewing, and Psychological First Aid. Psycho-educational offerings include CPTSD (Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), ASD/ADHD support, Vicarious Trauma awareness, and Therapeutic Life Story Work.

CREATIVELY:

Milcah’s creative modalities are as varied as ART itself. Her love of most things retro/analog keeps B&W/Colour film (proper film, proper dark room setup), and Multimedia collage at the forefront. And YES, she’s a Nikon Girl, but she plays well with others!!
